After looking around on the web and evaluating many printed circuit board layout packages, I determined that the functionality that I needed just was just not available for the price I was willing to pay(several of these commercial software packages have prices in the thousands!). There are many pcb layout programs that will generate DXF code, but very few that will create an outline toolpath in Gcode. Since DAK TURBO-CNC 3.0f by Dave Kowalczyk interprets Gcode, I need a converter so I can spend time doing something else while my circuit boards are machined for me on the home-brewed milling machine. So, I set out to roll my own dxf to Gcode tool path converter. Here is a little about what I learned. I based a lot of my work on this research: Algorithm for Polyline Outline Construction
